Property Management Economist for Housing Associations in Malmö

Do you want to work in a broad and advisory financial role focusing on housing associations? We are now looking for a property management economist for our client in Malmö!

The position is a temporary contract starting in March 2026 and extending until early January 2028. The assignment is a consultancy role via Jefferon Wells (Manpower Group) with a well-established player in property and housing association management.

About the Role

As a property management economist, you will be responsible for the financial management of several housing associations. You will work closely with the boards of the associations and act as their financial advisor. The role combines accounting, analysis, and customer contact and involves close collaboration with other management functions.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing accounting and financial follow-up
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
• Preparation of annual reports
• Analysis of the associations' finances and advising on financial decisions
• Presentation of financial materials for boards
• Contact with boards, auditors, and internal partners

We are looking for someone who

• Has a post-secondary education in finance or equivalent
• Has experience in accounting, financial statements, and budget work
• Experience with housing associations or property management is a plus
• Is comfortable communicating financial matters to non-financial individuals
• Works in a structured, independent manner with a strong service mindset
